Grey Hour

Pages

Two short pages are on file. One explains why an hour name does not book a sitting. One explains why a screen title waits until the letters can be seen.

A short page is a longer look at one refusal already stated on Hours and Grey. It does not add a new kind of line. It does not replace hour names, shade counts, lift dates, screen titles, shown lines, or second readings. It stays with one sentence until a reader can see why that sentence ends the way it does.

The first short page stays with South Chambers Road. An hour name is kept only when the line ends by refusing a sitting. If a booking is still written in, the name is turned away even when the English words look complete. The page also leaves print prices, clock sales, and event dates off the line.

The second short page stays with letters that can already be seen. The Aurora office copies a title only after those letters appear. If they do not appear that day, the page writes that the title is not on the screen. The copy is not written ahead as a later store decision. Install totals and revenue stay off that page.

Both notes are listed below. They can be read in either order. A letter about a missing field still names the line it belongs to, such as hour name or screen title, and goes to thompson@thegreyhour.online.
